Why cyber insurance?

Cyber threats are now a common everyday business risk. At rrelentless, we understand the impact a cyber event can have on a business. From loss of, or damage to information from IT systems and networks to breaches that trigger regulatory investigations caused unintentionally by your employees, or intentionally by a cybercriminal whose attack brings about disruption or damage to your data, IP rights, reputation, technology and hardware arising from a cyber event.

The consequences can be severe – a cyber incident can hit a business’ bottom line through the theft of money, disruption to trading, and loss of business because of reputational damage. Not to mention the potential legal and regulatory penalties for those businesses whose staff and customer data have been compromised in the aftermath of a cyber incident.

About this policy

This cyber insurance policy (underwritten by AXA Insurance UK plc) has been designed to help policyholders recover as quickly as possible. However, in all instances, it is better to reduce the likelihood of issues, and to make preparations to reduce their impact. Prevention is often the best protection, which is why our cyber insurance policy includes access to rradar’s services, people, legally privileged advice, and risk management tools. All designed and delivered by rradar’s cyber and data experts to help policyholders navigate the risks they face, as included as standard, as part of this cyber insurance policy.
